This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have over it.
Saxon Vane is a trading name of TBD, which is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. You can reach us about anything on this page at hello@saxonvane.co.uk.
We collect what you give us through the forms on this site: your name, email address and phone number, details about your business or what you are looking to buy, and anything you write in a message. If you use one of our calculators and then send us an enquiry, we also receive the answers you gave the calculator. If you sign up to our newsletter we keep your email address and anything you add about yourself afterwards.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also records how you use the site, such as the pages you visit and roughly where you are, without identifying you by name.
We use your details to reply to you, to value and sell your business if you ask us to, to send you businesses that match what you are looking for if you join our buyer register, and to send our newsletter if you sign up to it. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a business brokerage to handle enquiries, and on your consent for the newsletter and analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any of our emails or by telling us at the address above.
We keep enquiries and client records for as long as we are working with you and for up to six years after our last contact, so we can deal with any questions about a sale. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email us at the address above and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
A free valuation from us looks at your contracts one by one and comes back with a figure and the reasoning behind it.
