We charge £495 when you list your cleaning business with us and a success fee of 4% of the sale price, which is only payable when the sale goes through and the money is in your account.

The valuation is free, and both fees are set out in a written agreement you sign before anything is listed.
| Fee | Amount | When you pay it |
|---|---|---|
| Valuation | Free | Never, whether or not you go on to sell with us |
| Listing fee | £495 | When you instruct us to sell |
| Success fee | 4% of the sale price | Only when the sale completes, out of the sale money |
The listing fee pays for preparing your business for sale and putting it in front of buyers, work that starts on the first day whether or not a buyer is found. The success fee is due only if your business sells, and if it does not sell you do not pay it. There are no other charges.
As a worked example, a window cleaning company that sells for £150,000 costs £495 to list and £6,000 on completion, while a commercial contract cleaner that sells for £400,000 costs £495 and £16,000.
The work is the same for a window cleaning company as for a commercial contract cleaner, scaled to the size of the business.
Once an interested buyer has agreed to our confidentiality terms, we handle the calls and meetings, help agree the price and terms, and work with the solicitors on client contracts and TUPE until the money is in your account.
The £495 covers listing your business on our own site and on the main UK business-for-sale websites, along with the valuation, the sales pack and our direct approaches to buyers, and that work starts on the day you instruct us. Most of what we earn still depends on the sale completing, so we only take on businesses we believe will sell.
Before anything is listed we send you a short written agreement setting out both fees, the work we will do, how long the agreement runs and how either side can end it, and we are happy to go through it line by line on a call. If you are thinking about selling, start with a free valuation or get in touch here.
£495 when you list and a success fee of 4% of the sale price when the sale completes. The valuation is free and there are no other charges.
Yes. Our valuation is free and carries no obligation, and you only pay the £495 listing fee if you decide to go ahead and sell with us.
You do not pay the 4% success fee, because it is only due when the sale goes through and the money is in your account. The £495 listing fee covers work already done, so it is not refunded, and we will talk to you about what is holding buyers back.
Our agreement gives us sole selling rights for its term, so the 4% success fee is due if the business sells while the agreement is in place, including to a buyer you find yourself. Before anything is listed we explain in writing exactly what that means, how long the agreement runs and how to end it.
No, buyers do not pay us. We act for you as the seller, and our fees are agreed with you alone.
A free valuation from us looks at your contracts one by one and comes back with a figure and the reasoning behind it.
